In 2016, under a project funded by the Somalia Stabilization Fund and IOM (contract agreement BAI009) in Afgooye and the surrounding villages such as; Tixsiile, Warmahan, Lafoole, Jambaluul, Saagaalad and Buulalow. This interactive theater increased community interaction through drama skits based on community experiences and the use of production process to create dialogue and conversation on resolving conflicts among communities. Through this activity, Lifeline was able to attract a large number of audiences whereby actors/actresses were able to disseminate peace messages using traditional and creative mechanisms. The same approach was done within two districts, Buffalo and Janaale of the Lower Shebelle region in South-West State supported by the Dareeyl IOM Project (contract agreement CS1082).
