Additionally, we have successfully trained 31 youth officials from the Bakool Regional Youth Office in Xudur district supported by the Somalia Stabilization Fund and IOM (contract agreement BAI009) to act as change agents within their locality. Being youth as well as recognized officials, they were provided capacity building on leadership to engage community issues and take forward their concerns to relevant institutions. Till date, the trained youth are regarded as change agents and first point of contact for any meaningful development.
