Lifeline implemented a grant ‘Expanding Access to Justice (EAJ) Program in Lower Shabelle’ with support from USAID in some parts of Lower Shabelle, particularly in Afgoye, Sabiid and Anole. Embedding Justice through Community dialogues and Town hall meetings to ensure that justice is accessible to community members. We have implemented a valid approach that works wholesome in addressing justice related problems. Through community dialogues and town hall meetings, we have converged all members of the public to discuss and find solutions to justice related problems with government officials. Setting up sub-justice committees has shown significant improvement during our implementation of the Expanding to Justice program in four districts in the Shabelle region of South-West State. The sub-justice committees resulted from community dialogue and town hall engagements to foster greater actions in the justice sector.
